What you buy
A licence for Kept for Mac, a downloadable software application. Kept requires macOS 26 Tahoe or later on a Mac with Apple silicon. Please check the 14-day free trial works on your setup before buying.
Price and payment
- The price is €19, one-time, VAT included. Stripe may show it in your local currency.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. Depending on your country, Stripe or its affiliate Link may act as the reseller of record, collect applicable taxes and issue your receipt; in that case Stripe's terms also apply to the payment.
- There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
Delivery
Your licence key is shown on screen as soon as the payment is confirmed, and Stripe emails you a receipt. Keep the key: it proves your purchase and activates Kept.
Your licence
- The licence is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable, and does not expire.
- It lets one person use Kept on up to two Macs they own or control.
- It includes all version 1.x updates. A future major version may be offered as a paid upgrade; version 1 keeps working.
- You may not resell, share, sublicense or redistribute Kept or your key, or try to bypass the licence check, except where the law expressly allows it.
14-day refund
If Kept isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the full amount, no questions asked. Your licence is revoked once the refund is issued. This guarantee is in addition to, and does not limit, the right of withdrawal and other rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
Guarantee and liability
If you are a consumer in the EU, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content: if Kept does not work as described, we will fix it or, if we can't, refund you.
Kept verifies that every copied file is identical to the original, but no software can protect against every hardware failure. We recommend keeping a second backup of important work. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or loss of data; this does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any rights you cannot waive as a consumer.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of that country. If something goes wrong, please write to us first: we will do our best to sort it out quickly.
